I was looking over the blog here and I realized that I have not posted the pictures of Kalven wiggling out of his car seat. Check this out…

That day he fell asleep when he was half way out, but he can wiggle out all the way if he wants to.

That was a couple weeks ago. Kalven can now crawl, mostly backwards, but he can crawl. Aleece has clocked him at 5 feet in 5 min, and he could have gone further but she stopped him from going under the table. This kids is going to be walking by his first birthday I can feel it.

Leif is such a character. He loves to color, we have even gotten him a couple of notebooks that he can “sketch” in. They are his, only for Leif work. Leif also loves to climb and just get into things, including Kalvens high chair. So the other day Aleece let Leif get into the high chair and color. Aleece went to tend to Kalven upstairs and when she got back take a look…

The last one is my favorite. Now I almost did not include those pictures because this is a normal thing. We have those washable Crayola markers and have chosen this as one of those battles to NOT fight. They wash up so easily he can color all over himself and the table to his hearts content, but the battle we HAVE chosen is that no matter how washable the markers are they stay at the table.

That’s a bookshelf we have. The really funny part is we have a cat, Charlie, that just loves to climb into that cubby and curl up for a nap. I kind of think that’s what Leif was doing too!
